Pink & Pink

I was super excited about my bouquet. Fortunately for me, I have a friend who is a florist. His name is Nolan and he exudes patience. I think my flowers turned into the biggest stress for me. I went in with a plan and photos of exactly what I wanted. I thought I'd be 5 minutes. Everything I wanted was out of season or unavailable. But, I'm kinda glad. It was importantly to me that my bouquet be original. I didn't want anything I'd photographed or seen before. I wanted to be able to enjoy it long after the wedding - so it needed to dry nicely and I also wanted it to have an element of "strange". Finally after a very long time and lots of searching I found something that fit the criteria. Roses (dry nicely) berries (dry nicely) and protea (strange and dries nicely). As I write, my bouquet sits on the coffee table. Thanks for your patience Nolan! I loved/love my bouquet!!!
